You must have lived in England, Wales or Scotland for at least 185 days in the last 12 months before the day you take your theory or driving test.

It is vital that you only book your test when your instructor feel you’re ready to take it. Tests could be at short notice so it’s important you feel confident in your driving ability to pass.
Theory test appointments can be booked, change and cancelled subject to three working days notice.
If you are unable to go to your appointment for a road test, you must change or cancel it at least 3 working days before for full refund otherwise you will lose you fee. You can change your appointment up to 10 times. If you need to make more changes after that, you have to cancel your test and rebook it.
